They send us home from the hospital with the blue bulb syringe, so we tend to trust it by default. But bulbs, like everything else in the hospital are meant to be DISPOSABLE. They are impossible to clean out thoroughly, which makes them a source of virus-laden mucus that you are putting back into your child's nose, or worse a sibling's nose.
